Then, if you are a Virginia Resident you can get a child ages 3-9 in for free with every paying adult, and it has to be purchased online. So for my family of 7 we only need to buy a ticket for Dean and myself. What a deal!

Movie

Tuesday evening the 17th of August in Warrenton at the Warrenton Aquatics Recreation Facility, the Warrenton Chick-fil-A will be giving away 600 Spicy Chicken sandwiches for FREE to the first 600 people there and the event is a MOVIE on the LAWN and it is FREE FAMILY FUN and the movie is CURIOUS GEORGE 2. Classy Kids Consignment

Shop the Classy Kids Consignment if you want a place to shop for your kiddos--quality end of summer and fall school clothes, books, furniture (and maybe an early start on Christmas toys)--the Classy Kids Consignment sale will be held on July 14-18 at the Prince William County Fairgrounds. I have participated in the last sale (both buying great items and selling items) and have been very happy with the process.

If you want to get RID of the clothes your kids have outgrown and you want to make some extra moola (I made $451.00 in March!) Join the fun! Consignors make 60% and do not have to pay a consignment fee. Every item is entered into their online/barcode system, which makes it easy to track what you have sold. Scriptures 4 Kids

Scriptures 4 Kids is a great site where your kids can read the scriptures for themselves. You choose a reading level and they can go through and read or listen to highlights from The Book of Mormon and D&C, (Bible coming soon). There are also games and activities on the site. Cameron and Gavin have loved this!

Free National Parks Week!

To make it easier to experience America's Great Outdoors, the National Park Service is waiving entrance fees, so visitors can enjoy all 392 national parks for free April 17-25. In addition, many national park concessioners are offering special promotions that are certain to add to your fun.

Free Bowling for Kids

It's back! You can register for 2 free games per day, per kid at the Centreville bowling alley. I think for Centreville it said it goes from mid April through mid September. You get emailed coupons each week. The first time I went last summer with my neighbor, they made us pay $3.50/kid to rent shoes and we thought it was a total rip-off. But I later found out that that was a mistake and the next time I went I think it was like $1/kid for the shoes. It starts getting pretty crowded especially towards the end of the summer, so start as soon as you can. Be a bowler!

Preschool at the Turner's Home

After thoughtful consideration and the urging of others I have decided to go ahead and get my license to teach preschool at my house next year from 9:30 - 12:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This will be an actual structured preschool not just free time/playtime at the Turner's home. The age group will be geared toward Truman's age. The children must turn three years old before October 1, 2010. I am only going to accept four children into this learning group. The price will be $130 a month. Inclement weather days will always be rescheduled. Let me know if you are interested in joining our little group or if you know someone who may be interested.

I'm excited to start teaching again!

The Princess and The Frog deal

I've been watching for a coupon for the Blu-ray combo pack and they finally released one. I've been picking up a lot of these Blu-ray Disney movies for super cheap with these coupons. They usually release them for just a few days before they release the movie. We do not have a Blu-ray player, but the combo packs come with a regular DVD as well.

Classy Kids Consignment Sale

The first Classy Kids Consignment sale will be held on March 10-14 at the Prince William County Fairgrounds. I have participated in the last two sales (both buying great items and selling items to make money to buy those aforementioned items) and have been very happy with the process.
