Christmas Fun In NoVA

Here is a compilation of fun Christmas activities for families. There are so many fun things to do, the problem is just fitting them all in. My advice is to not try to do them all in one year, they will all be around next year too! Please add more things in the comments if I have forgotten something!

Manassas Christmas Parade ---first Saturday of December. A great parade. Dress warm!

National Christmas Tree at the White House ---we've never done this, but sounds like fun and very unique to our area.

Santa Train Departs from Manassas

Christmas Carol Performance Insiders know that you can see the very first performance on Thursday, Dec 3, at 8PM and it is "pay what you can."

Festival of Lights of Bull Run Park

Miracle of Lights at DC Temple---There are also two nightly performances by different groups all through December. We really like the live nativity in the parking lot.

Christmas at Hershey Park SO SO FUN! The price is only $12/person and you can get discount tickets at Giant or coupons at CVS stores (you have to stop at one of these stores in central PA, but there are several right on the highway as you're headed up there.)

Boyds Bear Country SUPER FUN! Check out the Christmas pictures on their site. It's a really fun activity and if you're going to make the 90 minute drive, I would definitely suggest doing the breakfast with Santa! Get your tickets for that asap because they all sell out.

Have fun this holiday season!
