My neighbors just opened Jump-N-Jimmy's bounce place. Check out their website for info, photos and hours. We've been there several times and it is really nice (and new). There is a parent area with a tv and wi-fi. It is unlimited bounce so you could stay all day if you're up for it. It's great to have a place like this without going all the way to Manassas!

Here is a compilation of fun Christmas activities for families. There are so many fun things to do, the problem is just fitting them all in. I was at WalMart in Manassas today at they are getting ready to move to the new location at the Manassas Mall. They will be closing on Oct 28 at 2PM and opening at the mall at 3 PM. I overheard a worker telling a customer that they were going to be putting lots of things on sale towards the end of this week. They've already cleared out a lot of stuff. I have to say it was very pleasant walking down the isles that weren't crammed with stuff. So look out for the new and improved WalMart next week!

Free Groceries from Kraft

I wanted to make sure this really worked before I posted it so I checked it out yesterday--and it worked! Kraft and Shoppers are running a great deal for the next week. Check it out here.

The deal is is that you can only buy items from their "shopping list", which you can print from the site above. Make sure you follow the rules on the exact items and ounces for the rebate to be legit. Now I know a lot of this food is junk type food, but it's basically free so I wasn't complaining.

Here is what I did:

• I printed off the shopping list from the website above


• I noted items on the list that I already had coupons for before going to Shoppers


• At Shoppers I found a gazillion more coupons to go along with the products (the coupons are located on the Kraft displays at the front of the store and back by the meat department)


• Buy the items listed that total up to $25 dollars. Make sure that if you are using coupons that your final total, on the certain items, will still be $25. (I ended up using $21 in coupons and spent $28.12 after all of the coupons were deducted.)


• Make sure you get your rebate slip from the cashier and the $5 Shoppers printout.


• After paying I went and bought $5 more in groceries in order to use my Shoppers printout.


• Fill out your rebate and drop it in the mail.
  

So here was my total:

I used $21 in coupons

I spent $28.12, out of pocket, on my first transaction

I spent .43 cents on my second transaction after using my $5 coupon

I will get a $20 rebate check back in the mail

So, in the very end, I will have ended up paying only $8.55 and the price of one stamp for all 24 items--not too bad for $54.55 worth of groceries (that's an 84% savings).

The bananas, 2 bags of carrots, and bread crumbs were my $5 purchases. I had 2 coupons that stated that if I bought Ritz crackers I got a box of Wheat Thins free. I also used $1 off each CPK coupons, $1 off 2 cream cheese coupons, and the other coupons I used were all from the displays in the store.

Toddlin' Time Classes

Toddlin' Time in Manassas has classes for kiddies 10 months-4 years old. I took Lauren to a few sessions when she was little and it's a really nice program and a really nice teacher. The sessions are 6 weeks and cost $50. I am going to go to their open house on Thursday, Sept 10 or Friday, Sept 11 and if I bring a friend, we both get a free class. Anyone want to go? I also found a coupon in an ad today for $6 off, so it could end up only costing around $36 for 6 weeks.

Ok, I've never taken pictures of my shopping excursions before, but I wanted to SHOW you that you CAN get things for free.

This past weekend I got all of the items in the two pictures for FREE.

Well, in all actuality, they paid ME $14.79 to take these items off their shelves. I didn't even pay tax. I made $14.79 to try these products.

I only took pictures of items that were free so unfortunately so can't see all of the things I got for pennies on the dollar. And I know that is a lot of cleaning products, but I picked them up for my mom and sisters as well.

My Lastest Idea

I might look a bit weird to the neighbors but that is nothing new...

My friend Lisa, across the street usually gives me her bag of coupons each week from her paper, but sometimes she forgets. This causes me a bit of angst when I am ready to clip and search for the latest and greatest.

I thought I would sign up for the Sunday paper but didn't really want to deal with it (I don't read it).

But today while on my Monday morning run (and of course looking for any garbage to sell), I noticed all of the recycling bins full of newspapers! It was then I decided to look for the blue plastic coupon bags from the paper. I didn't have to search for long, finding three within a mile (I refuse to rummage...I would look extra weird) just sitting right on top! I grabbed them and off I went to finish my run! My biceps were a bit sore after a while, but if you have a stroller and "Stroll" with a kid in the morning...free coupons!

Now I don't have to spend $4 a month on a paper I don't want. And I even have more coupons than I was planning!

New Radio Station

Probably not many of you have the same taste in music as I do, but on the off chance that someone might, I just found a new radio station- FRESH FM 94.7. It's a lot like 107.3 if you like that and I have been listening to it for days and have really enjoyed it. It's mostly current pop stuff, but a few 80's and 90's thrown in. Don't laugh, but the radio in my kitchen gets few stations and I've had it set to 97.1 which was driving me crazy with all of the old disco music, but this station comes in clear in my kitchen as well. Set it on your dial!

Shoppers Double Coupons $1 coupon = $2 off

Shoppers is doubling coupons until Sunday. Shoppers is the only store that will double $1 coupons taking $2 off. I only use my $1 coupons at Shoppers. There is no coupon limit. Last night my original total came to $100.02 and I ended up only paying $23.42 after coupons. Note: Watch each coupon go through. Shoppers registers are notorious for being ultra finicky.

Redboxcodes!

Brooke was telling me last week about a site that posted codes for free redbox rentals on Mondays, so I did a search on Google for codes and came across www.redboxcodes.com. If you sign up for free they will email you a bunch of codes that work any day of the week. Below is the list they sent me. The catch is that not all the codes work depending on where you live and what store you're in and that is why each code has a percentage by it. We used this list last week and two out of the three I tried worked and we rented two videos for free. You can use each code once per credit card, and only one per transaction. I had to do two transactions back to back to get my two free movies, but I used the same card for both of those. I just printed the list out and keep it in my purse and check off the ones I use so I can keep track. Enjoy some free movies!

Went to the new Chick fil a today. Super yum, super nice people, super clean and next week they are giving breakfast away free!!!!!!! Every day!!!!! You can go through the dirve through!!!!! You can have one for each person in your car!!!!! Here is the schedule:

Tuesday: Free Cinnamon cluster
